Our Philosphy

Theatre teaches skills that last a lifetime. Play production involves more than memorizing lines and performing on stage. While you have been a member of our audience enjoying our shows, did you know we were learning life skills?

By working on stage and backstage, we grew in self-confidence, self-awareness, initiative, responsibility, sacrifice, dedication, leadership, creative thinking, problem-solving, goal setting, time management, group dynamics, and group decision making.

We also learned application of practical skills – carpentry, use of power tools, design applications, painting techniques, interior decoration, public relations, costuming, make-up, accounting, visual effects, and sound and video techniques.

 

Our Facility

The Hamilton High Rotary Club Auditorium is a teaching and entertaining center for Hamilton students of the arts and is available for community use as school scheduling allows. Information may be received by contacting the Fine Arts Office at Hamilton High School at (513) 887-4816.
